We would like to welcome you and give you some information about FOMS. Friends Of Manor School (FOMS) have a major role to play in the life of the school. All parents and carers of the children are welcome to join - in fact we positively encourage it!

We have a very active and enthusiastic committee at Manor. Our aim is to raise funds independently of the school's allocated budget. Over the years we have raised thousands of pounds, which have been spent on equipment and resources to enhance our children's educational and school facilities including extras like Christmas parties, theatre visits and playground equipment.
We have raised and donated a significant sum of money towards the new key stage 2 outdoor play area and the African Drumming sessions at school. We also supply the Year 6 Purple Jumpers.
We also provide the squash and biscuits for class assemblies.

FOMS are here to provide closer links between home and school and is a great way to bring parents, staff and friends together socially in support of the school, working towards a common goal.
Our main fundraiser each year is our Christmas Bazaar but we also organise Family Games Evening, Quiz nights and School Discos.

We encourage all parents to come and get involved, even if you have a small amount of time available. We try to make it as much fun as possible and to involve the children, members of the school and the local community at every opportunity.

Please let us know if you have any contacts or skills we could use, everything is potentially valuable to us. We meet once or twice a term and are always looking for new ideas and fresh input to raise our balance and the profile of the school. There are a number of ways you can support FOMS, such as offering to help at events or just lend a hand when you can, or join our tea and coffee rota for class assemblies.Anything you can do is a great help to us.

We wouldn't be able to achieve what we do, without the fantastic families here at Manor.
