Overview: Coherence in Manaiakalani

Dr Rebecca Jesson and Professor Stuart McNaughton from the Woolf Fisher Research Centre at the University of Auckland discuss the high level of coherence found across Manaiakalani cluster schools at leadership, teacher, student and whānau level. They describe what they saw and provide advice to other networks about how to achieve coherence.

Dorothy Burt, from the Manaiakalani Education Programme team, reflects on how coherence works in practice in the Manaiakalani Schools.
There are elements of the programme that are tightly adhered to, and elements where each school has autonomy.

In this video, Dorothy talks about how the cluster schools ensure that PLD is aligned to cluster goals.
