Cybersmart learning is embedded in our Manaiakalani goals and supports our

Being Cybersmart empowers our learners as connected citizens. When their learning is visible and accessible, anytime, any place, at any pace,  Cybersmart young people learn to make smart decisions and understand that every time  they connect, collaborate and share online it combines to create their digital footprint.

Open Manaiakalani: Being Cybersmart
Each cybersmart category includes key learning concepts that are critical to enabling our young people to make smart decisions when learning, creating and sharing online.

The initial learning shared within each of the cybersmart categories is designed to support teachers and learners who are new to the 1:1 digital learning environment.

Teachers are invited to repurpose and redesign to reflect the learning needs of their students.

As teachers develop their confidence cybersmart learning will increasingly be embedded into existing programmes of learning across the curriculum.

We are keen to share examples of cybersmart learning in all our schools. If you have examples from your Google sites, DLOs created by students and shared on individual and class blogs please email links and we will share here.
Any questions or feedback please email Fiona or Dorothy.
