TY students volunteer for the homeless

posted 24 May 2017, 12:04 by Andrea Wilson
A number of students from Transition Year volunteered at the Coast & Castle fun run on Sunday 21st May.  The run was organised by St Andrew's parish and raised funds for two homeless charities; The Peter McVerry Trust and the Alice Leahy Trust.  Our students donned high-viz vests and stood on the route all morning, marshaling the runners and directing them where to go.  Without volunteers, fun runs like this cannot take place and we are very proud of our students for volunteering for such a worthy cause.  Well done girls!
