What is Reaching?
Reaching is the foreign language department's literary magazine, which was founded in 1990 by current department chair Susan Kramer, and is run by a group of student editors and staff selected annually by the teachers in the foreign language department. The magazine is composed solely of student work in all 5 languages taught at Maine South:  French, German, Italian, Mandarin and Spanish. The magazine is published at least once annually. If possible, all enrolled foreign language students at Maine South receive one copy from their teacher.
