Maine East's Government and Politics Club

Tuesdays after school in Rm. 330, from 3:20 to 4:15 p.m.

Everyone is welcome to join us!

We gather each week to talk and learn about politics and government, listen to speakers, undertake service learning, learn and try campaigning, discuss current and controversial issues, watch films, and generally increase our knowledge about government and politics.

In the fall and winter,  we discuss current topics and elections.   In the late winter and spring, we work on international subjects, specifically considering what the role of the U.S. should be in the larger world.  Some students will participate in Capitol Forum at ISU in April.

If you have any questions, please contact Jennifer Conlon, Social Science Department teacher, in Rm. 332, jconlon@maine207.org .

Hope to see you at our meetings!
