Do you enjoy helping others while earning service credit? If you answered yes to these questions then YOU should become a Student Aide in the Student Services office!! Pick up an application today from your SST and submit it by the deadline of August 23rd.


Math Team:

The first meeting of the math team will take place Tuesday, August 27 at 3:30pm in room A115.  If you have any questions, see your math teacher or Mr. Nilsen in A115. Hope to see you there!

 

Environmental Club:

The Environmental Club will meet next Tuesday after school in A-308 or Wednesday morning in A-304. We will be planning the activities for this year and our first Forest Preserve clean up. Please contact Mr. Knodle if you have questions.

 

Boys Volleyball:

All freshmen and sophomores boys, who are planning to try out for volleyball this spring, should attend an informational meeting on Friday, August 23rd at either 7:30 or 3:20 in room C128. Tryouts and Club information will be discussed. See Coach Granell in A223 if you cannot attend.

*9th grade and transfer students:  If you are in need of a hallway locker, please stop by your SST office starting Monday, August 26 and prior to Friday, August 30.   10th/11th/12th grade students: If you would like to continue to use your previously assigned locker, you will need to inform your SST office no later than Friday, August 30.  IMPORTANT for ALL STUDENTS, only those lockers that have been registered to students by the SST offices may be used. ALL OTHER LOCKERS will be cleared in preparation for building construction.

*Starting Monday, August 26th only students with issued parking permits are allowed to park in the available Awing (South) and Cafe lots. All other students who park on school grounds without a parking permit will be ticketed and/or their car will get towed.


UnderClass Council:

If you are interested in being part of the UnderClass Council this year, our first meeting will take place today at 3:30pm in C128.  Please attend and hear about what the organization will be a part of this year!

Girls Golf started the 2019-2020 sports year on Friday at the Prospect Tournament.  Leading the Hawks were Theresa Daly - 93, Ali Biagi-98 and Kendall Bertsch-98.

Senior Hawks -- We want to see you and your parents at the "Hawks Leave Home" presentation tonight in the auditorium from 7-9 PM. Mrs. Moreth, our Career & College Admissions Specialist, will discuss post-high school options and the college application process, including what to do with the Common App. After her presentation, we will hear from the Univ of Illinois, Urbana, Champaign admissions rep about their application process.
