Student Spotlight

Travis M

A congratulations is in order for Travis Malott, who just accepted an internship at the Department of State in Washington DC!

Travis is studying to earn his Master’s of Arts in Global Sustainability; with his concentration in Sustainable Energy. Travis has been working closely with Dr.Philippidis and he often stops by the office to do work and say hello.

Travis started his internship search early in the year, and received a position at the Department of State right before break. He will be living in Washington D.C. for 14 weeks this summer, working in the Special Envoy for Climate Change (SECC). Through this internship, Travis will be able to sit in on legislative meetings and learn about the various problems that professionals face when combating climate change.

"I just wanted to thank you for all the hard work you have put into helping me achieve this milestone in my career," Travis told us. "Without the PCGS [team], none of this would have been possible."

We are very proud, Travis! Congratulations.
