Michael G. Schmidt II

I am currently enrolled at USF and am working on a double major in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Engineering. I volunteer in the CARRT Lab and the project I am working on involves teleoperation and automation of a robotic arm using laser guiding for use by someone with a disability, allowing them to perform tasks which are ordinarily difficult for them. In my spare time I own a small Web/Logo Design company called Kinetic Concepts, LLC (http://www.kineticsparks.com). My hobbies include wakeboarding, barefooting, snowboarding, and making short films to name a few. My most recent short film, "Real Life: My Superpowers Suck",  for Campus Movie Fest won audience choice award and is moving on to the International Grand Finale in Hollywood. You can view my videos in the multimedia section.
