Linnea Eberhart was born in Hopkinsville, KY on July 11, 1990. She would then spend the next twelve years moving from Army base to Army base before settling in Valrico, FL in 2002. It was in Valrico that Linnea would attend Bloomingdale Senior High School where she was a member of the Spanish Honor Society, National Honor Society and Rho Kappa Honor Society. She received the Key Scholar Award, participated in multiple service projects and ultimately graduated in 2008 with a 5.83 GPA. Upon graduation Linnea was admitted to the University of South Florida in the Fall of 2008 and was the recipient of the USF Presidential Scholar, the Richard J. Meadows Special Forces Association and the Bright Futures Florida Academic Scholars Scholarships.

Linnea is now a senior at USF, double-majoring in Criminology and International Studies, with plans to graduate in December 2011. Upon the completion of these two baccalaureate degrees, Linnea plans to pursue a law degree with the ultimate goal of becoming a special agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigations. In an effort to accrue valuable field experience, Linnea has completed internships with both state and federal law enforcement agencies over the last two years.
