Involvement was stressed at orientation, and Joshua wants to get involved. There are many organizations that interest him. Joshua has recently joined the organization Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda, Inc. Although he is new, Josh hopes to get further involved in the organization. He is a member of the Bulls Business Network (BBN). This is a special organization only for incoming Freshmen with a high GPA and a high SAT/ACT score. Joshua takes pride in being apart of this association. He is one of the very first GloBull Ambassadors for Education Abroad at the University of South Florida. In this position, Joshua uses the experience and knowledge that he obtain while abroad to help his fellow peers who want to study abroad or are getting ready to go overseas. He has a passion for this particular organization, and strives to do everything he can to get the program more widely known. In the first semester of the program, Joshua participated in the Education Abroad Fair, the Study Abroad Showcase, handing out fliers, and even held his own tabling sessions which is where he dedicated his time to help students in anyway possible. He is currently participating in his second semester as a GloBull ambassador where he becomes more involved. Not only will he be an active member in the fairs and showcases, but Joshua will also be going to classrooms to present on the importance of Education Abroad and share his own experiences overseas. He is even going to be going to information sessions and offer his assistance to others. While these are only a few of the many groups Josh is associated with, he plans on furthering his involvement here at USF.
