My research focuses on the neural basis of visual attention in the human brain. Using psychophysics and multimodal neuroimaging techniques such as intracerebral recordings, MRI and MEG, I study the spatiotemporal dynamics of exogenous and endogenous attention in health and disease, in collaboration with Prof. Paolo Bartolomeo.
I'm also interested in visual motion perception and how it is represented in the brain. Using the Infinite regress illusion with fMRI and MVPA, I explore how the brain processes veridical and illusory motion, together with Dr. Matteo Lisi, Prof. Paolo Bartolomeo and Prof. Patrick Cavanagh.
