NEWS! Activities for Children 2-4 Added to February Workshop

NOW OFFERING ACTIVITIES FOR CHILDREN AGES 2-4 YEARS-- led by an early childhood professional.  Monica Kirkland, from Green Valley Enterprise's Birth-to-Three Program is bringing her enthusiasm and creativity to lead the Preschool program just added to the 
Free Family Workshop hosted by KIDS Wisconsin 
at the Columbus High School 
on February 27th, 
from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.  
Lunch and all materials will be provided to attendees.*  Children will enjoy age-appropriate activities, led by caring professionals, while parents will join together to explore and strengthen their family bonds and self-care skills. Parents and caregivers can register for the workshop by going to the form at this link.


Event highlights include, Daniel Parker, Family Engagement Consultant for the WI Department of Public Instruction will be keynote speaker for the event.  Will Meissner, Program Director for Assist Wisconsin will share past events and invite families to utilize an innovative network of volunteers who promise to turn obstacles into opportunities for families to share in recreation and adventure.  Kathryn Grieves of LiveFor... will share Color-Me Yoga for kids and Ann-Marie Olsen of Mental Health Solutions will share Advocating and Empowering your Child.  Jahlieh Henderson, of Special Olympics’ Project Unify, will bring together the youth ages 13 - 21 for activities that celebrate individuality while building teamwork. Katie Buonincontro, will lead children ages 5-12 in fun activities and Monica Kirkland will lead activities for children ages 2-4 years.
