Intermediate Women’s Chorus

Intermediate Men's Chorus

(Whitewater Singers) This chorus is a performing ensemble comprised of 9^th – 12^th grade women with developing choral experience. The class focuses on two and three part treble choral music from a variety of genres and musical periods. Sight-reading, individual vocal development, music history, and music theory are also aspects of this course. After school rehearsals as well as evening performances are required and are a part of the student’s individual grade.

(Camerata) This chorus is a performing ensemble comprised of 9^th – 12^th grade men with developing choral experience. The class focuses on two and three part male choral music from a variety of genres and musical periods. Sight-reading, individual vocal development, music history, and music theory are also aspects of this course. After school rehearsals as well as evening performances are required and are a part of the student’s individual grade.

Advanced Women’s Chorus

Prerequisite: An audition

(Jubilate) This chorus is an advanced performing ensemble comprised of 10^th – 12^th grade women and is dedicated to accomplishing three and four part treble music. A high degree of sight-reading and musicality is expected in this ensemble. This choir will perform a variety of genres in with and without accompaniment. After school rehearsals as well as evening performances are required and are part of the student’s individual grade.

Advanced Mixed Chorus

Prerequisite: An audition

Mastery Women’s Chorus

(Chorale) This chorus is an advanced ensemble comprised of 10^th – 12^th grade men and women and is dedicated to accomplishing four part music. A high degree of sight-reading and musicality is expected in this ensemble. This choir will perform a variety of genres in with and without accompaniment. After school rehearsals as well as evening performances are required and are part of the student’s individual grade.

(Chorale Women) This chorus is the top performing ensemble in the choral program. It is comprised of 11^th – 12^th grade women . The highest degree of sight-reading and musicality is expected in this ensemble. This choir will perform a variety of genres in with and without accompaniment. After school rehearsals as well as evening performances are required and are part of the student’s individual grade.
