Bring Your Own Technology

Hello Inman Families!

We are once again, very excited about another adventure with technology!  The students will be exposed to a variety of lessons about internet safety and digital etiquette, and it will be very helpful for you  to review these important lessons at home periodically.    We want to ensure our students create a positive digital footprint!  Once they have finished these lessons, classroom teachers will let you know that it is okay for the students to BYOT with an educational purpose in mind.

Click on the Begin here!  Review and Register section of the website, please.  Everyone must sign the EUAP again this year if you plan to BYOT - even if you signed and returned it last year.  If your student plans to use the same device, then you do not need to register it online again.  However, if you have a new device or get a new device, then it must be registered online before your child can BYOT.

The Google Presentation for the parent workshop from last year may answer some of your questions.  Thank you for understanding that this is completely optional - not an expectation; and that it has the potential to be an amazing educational avenue for our students and their future.  Be sure to check the BYOT website periodically for updates & email Tess Keller with any questions.  We are experiencing this Fayette County Initiative together!

Have a wonderful day!
Tess Keller
