Welcome to Students in Political Science 1

WELCOME: Political Science 1, American Government, is a course that is offered online (there are no in person meetings). Normally, the class will meet once a week LIVE on Zoom, during the scheduled meeting time, with the rest of the course material and assignments posted on Canvas.

ATTENDANCE: You MUST attend the first day of class to hold your space. Participation in the live Zoom meetings is also mandatory for the first 3 weeks. If you miss any assignments or Zoom meetings in the first 3 weeks, you may be dropped from the class, and your space will be given to someone on the waiting list. After the first three weeks, the LIVE Zoom session will be recorded, and you can watch at your convenience.

CLASS MEETING SCHEDULE: Live Zoom sessions are held during your scheduled class time, starting the first week of the semester for online, 16 week classes. You can check the instructional calendar for the start date of the course.
