I'm a reference and instruction librarian here at CCSF, and I teach LIS 10, Use of Information Resources, a one-unit credit class.  I'm interested in using educational technologies to enhance collaboration and support different learning styles and pedagogies.  My research areas include information literacy instruction, and specifically thresholds concepts, an emerging theoretical framework, as applied to library instruction.  Beyond work I am a book and film nerd, amateur cook, volunteer at SF's GLBT History Center, and avid motorcyclist.
