I CAN'T SEE MY CLASS(ES) IN INSIGHT AFTER LOGGING IN?

ONLINE CLASSES If you are enrolled in an online class your class will open at 8 am on the first day of class. If you are taking a short-term class, please refer to your instructor for the exact time/date that the class opens. 

TECH-ENHANCED CLASSES If you are enrolled in a face-to-face class that uses Insight to tech-enhance the course, your instructor will open the class to you. Please ask your instructor when the class will open.  


HOW CAN I TELL IF THERE IS AN ON-CAMPUS, IN-PERSON ORIENTATION FOR MY CLASS?

Check your instructor's website for important information. You can find links to instructors' sites on the Employee directory (the link is above every page on the CCSF web site). Most also appear on the Schedule page for Online Courses: http://www.ccsf.edu/Schedule/shtml

I DON’T KNOW ABOUT OR HAVE NEVER ACCESSED MY CCSFMAIL (CCSF GOOGLE MAIL) ACCOUNT?

Your CCSFmail username and password are located in Web4. 
  1. Go to https://ocean.ccsf.cc.ca.us/web4stud.shtml   
  2. Log into Web4 and scroll to the bottom and click on CCSFmail
  3. Click on CCSFmail info to locate the CCSFmail account address created for you and the password. 
  4. Write down your username and password and keep it in a secure place. 
  5. Log out of Web4. 
  6. Now go to http://mail.google.com/a/mail.ccsf.edu and enter your username and password that you wrote down above.
    You can also login by going to any page on the CCSF web site (www.ccsf.edu) and clicking the MyCCSF link at the top right. Then go down the Student column and click the CCSFmail (CCSF Google email) link under the Email heading.
  7. Note: The first time that you use your CCSFmail account you will be prompted to change your password and set-up the account.
There is a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page about CCSFmail. Go to http://www.ccsf.edu and click on MyCCSF. The FAQ is in the Student column under the Email heading .

I DON’T REMEMBER MY CCSFMAIL PASSWORD?

If you ever lose your CCSFmail password, you can simply log into Web4 and reset it yourself under the CCSFmail link at the bottom of the list.


I DON’T HAVE OR REMEMBER MY WEB4 LOGIN INFORMATION?

Email corrects@ccsf.edu OR click on the link to change your password at http://www.ccsf.edu/web4

DO I HAVE TO USE CCSFMAIL? 

You are now required to use CCSFmail: All information from the school and from Insight is sent to this account.
You can easily forward to your preferred personal email account.  A link to forwarding instructions is located at http://insight.ccsf.edu under Main menu, SUPPORT.

WHERE CAN I GET MORE HELP?

Go to http://insight.ccsf.edu, on the left, under the yellow login block, you will see many links to the Online Course Support Center. You can file a Help Ticket and access frequently asked questions.  

If you are a faculty member, refer to the emails sent to the tech-enhanced list-serv or the onliners list-serv for information about faculty support.
