The first semester of Physics for Scientists and Engineers, Physics 4A is an online course with weekly mandatory conference meetings.

Diana Markham teaches the Online portion of the course which runs from 9/3/2019-12/20/2019.

There are 14 meetings on Tuesdays in MUB 370 on the Ocean Campus with Professor Stephen Swingle from 10:10 am -11:00 am. The first meeting is on Tuesday September 3. There is one more additional meeting on Tuesday December 17, from 10:30 am -12:30 pm for the Final Exam. There is no meeting on Tuesday October 15.

Course Information Fall 2018 

TEXTBOOK: WileyPLUS Access is required to take this online course. WileyPLUS access is perpetual, meaning it does not expire until the student passes the full sequence of physics, Physics 4A, 4B, 4C, and 4D. Most students will purchase access from within the Online Canvas course. The text book that is included with WileyPLUS access is the 11th edition of "Fundamentals of Physics" by Halliday, Resnick, and Walker.
