School Uniform/ Stationary

School Uniform
After extensive community consultation a school uniform was made compulsory in 2016. The school uniform consists of a Maheno School polar fleece along with a polo top. These items are to be accompanied with some sort of black bottoms; shorts, trousers, skirts, as long as they are black. There is no requirement on shoes, as long as they are appropriate for activities inside and outside the classroom.
Uniforms are not for sale through the school. You can order them online from NZ Uniforms, or visit their store in Dunedin.

We have a stock of essential school stationary. If you wish we can hold a small amount of money at school for stationary requirements. Most families have a few dollars in the accounts so if children need stationary children can come and get what is required and the balance is taken from the account. Alternatively children will be given a note to take home stating what they require and the cost of that item at school if they want to purchase it from the school.
