Civics & Economics, September 25th - September 29th

Week 7.... Eeeek.  Can you believe that we are almost done this 9 weeks? Even though this is a short week, we are going to bring an end to Unit 3: Branches of Government and Unit 4: How a Bill Becomes a Law with a test on Wednesday, September 27th.  This test will be combined on both units, however it will entail fewer questions than the first combined unit test.

The units included the first three articles of the U.S. Constitution as well as legislation, some of which we worked on in the classroom. Students will continue to learn about roles of the legislative branch, executive branch and judicial branches with their vocabulary words, notes on each area, as well as fun, interactive group activities.

Also, as a reminder this is only a 4-day week for students as Friday is a Teacher Work day. So NO SCHOOL on Friday.
