Babies & Walkers (Kangaroos & Bears)

Rooms 1 and 2 at the Madison Learning Center are where children aged from about six weeks to one year old play with their teachers. In these rooms, the focus for the younger babies remains on tummy time, grasping, rolling, and even recognizing their name to promote their development. They are given one-on-one attention from our staff and much positive encouragement.

The older babies have different developmental goals. They work on feeding themselves, playing together, and pinching development so that they can improve at picking things up. The walking babies also explore textures through crafts and other exercises that help them better identify what they are touching.
