Meet our Teachers!
Marsha Bork, M.Ed., Teacher of the Visually Impaired
My name is Marsha Bork and I am an itinerant teacher of the visually impaired in the Madison School District. I have worked in Madison for the past 14 years and I absolutely love what I do! I have been teaching for more than 25 years. I teach students how to access everything from classroom curriculum to computers, including iPads, iPhones, and braille note takers. My greatest joy is watching my students use their technology and grow into lifelong learners!
Faye Gonzalez, M.Ed., Teacher of the Visually Impaired & Certified Orientation & Mobility Specialist
I have been a dually certified Teacher of the Visually Impaired and Certified Orientation & Mobility Specialist for over 19 years, the last 10 in the Madison School District. I specialize in working with students with Multiple Disabilities who are also Visually Impaired and I have a strong background in using assistive technology and communication devices with students with complex communication needs. My goal is to "be a bridge" for all of my very special students on their path to independence. I love seeing my students grow and learn to do things for themselves!
