The team will be traveling with Praying Pelican staff and staying in schools and or churches with all meals safely sourced, prepared and served by Praying Pelican staff.

Leaving Port au Prince 07/18 at 10:20 AM, clearing immigration & customs in Miami and arriving in back in Norfolk at 11:30 PM

Opportunity:
We will be working with churches, schools and/orphanages with the greatest needs. Our specific tasks may change upon arrival, but such is the reality of missions work. Our intent is to serve in construction and service projects in need of our God-given gifts, skills and abilities that week. Your skills, gifts and abilities may change the entire dynamic of the team.

This opportunity is open to High School Juniors and Seniors, current College Students and Adults. There is limited number of Team memberships available.

1. Is College credit being given?

Yes. It is possible to earn college credit for this trip.

2. How will I pay for it?
A mission’s trip should be supported by others who want to see you grow spiritually and emotionally as you stretch to serve others. We at MACU will help you raise the funds in addition to helping you with team letters and fund-raising ideas.

3. Who would I send support letters to?
Everyone you know, your mom and dad know plus all of your grandparents friends, everyone at church, your friends’ church and every student and faculty in your school. You will be truly amazed at who God uses to spread HIS word…when you let Him.

4. Are their scholarships available?
Sadly, no.

5. Will I need a passport?
YES! Please apply now it will take 4 – 6 weeks and cost $135 - $165. Do not get just the passport card you will need a book passport.

6. Who will be leading the team?
MACU’s Enrollment Director Dan Smith, a missions trip veteran with mission team management for teams sent to Africa, the middle East, Cuba, Indonesia and Central America plus and global travel experience to Europe, Turkey, Greece, Thailand, Trinidad, Viet Nam and Japan.
