As an Instructor why would I be interested in using Course Reports?
Simply put, course reports provide instructors with information regarding course usage and activity patterns for students.
Where are student reports generated?
Student reports are made available via the Course Control Panel;

How do you define "hits" in a report?
"Hits" in a report is defined as the number of times a request is sent to Blackboard for a specified action or resource.
What report can provide instructors with detailed exam information such as time accessed, and for what length of time it was accessed?
This type of information can be accessed by theinstructor through the Grade Center - Access Logsnotvia Course Reports.
When is the best time to run the Course Reports?
As you can imagine the time it will take to generate a course report will vary with the numberof students selected for thereport. If a report relates toa single student,it will be generated quickly and can be run anytime. However, if report for an entire class it is recommendedthat you run this report in off peak hours.
How can I select more than one student at a time for those reports that permit that possibility?
To select multiple users for reports where available; hold down the shift button before selecting multiple users. If selecting a cross section of users not listed sequentially you can hold down the Control (CTRL) button on PC, or the Command button on a Mac.
If selecting multiple users does that information display in the same graph?
When selecting multiple users, all users' information aggregates to the same report as opposed to an individual report for each user.
What available formats can I use to download the Course Reports?
Course Reports can be downloaded in the following formats PDF, HTML, Excel and Word. With the exception of "Student Overview for a Single Course and Course Activity Overview report which are downloadable to Excel only
