Start here! This session is designed for instructors who have little or no previous experience using MacEwan's new Learning Management System - Blackboard Learn.
Includes topics such as MacEwan specific processes (i.e. course creation, merging, migration, and student enrollment), basic navigation of the Blackboard Learn system, content creation, and customization using Blackboard Learn's new features.
Grade Center Express & Grading Assignments and Tests
Learn how to take advantage of the basic organization and grade calculation features offered by Blackboard Learn.
Become familiar with the Grade Center interface, navigation, and grading features.
Learn how to customize the Grade Center to quickly focus on particular students or data points.
Open Labs
Designed for instructors who have previously attended the Blackboard Learn Essentials or Getting Started workshop.
Ask questions to refresh or expand your knowledge of Blackboard Learn.
Instructors are welcome to bring course content files to the session.

Customized departmental training is a great way to get your department's instructors started in using Blackboard Learn, because:
Workshops can be schedule at a convenient time for your department, i.e., two 1.5 hr sessions instead of one 3 hr session.
Training content can be modified to suit your department's needs.
