Adaptive Release (known in previous versions of Blackboard as “Selective Release”) allows instructors to customize the release of content, creating a course that is more interactive and tailored to the needs of individual students. With Adaptive Release, you can control when and to whom course content is available.
The following two documents explain:
the rules and name the four types of criteria that can be used for Adaptive Release.
how to set a Basic Adaptive Release rule.
the difference between Basic and Advanced Adaptive Release rules.
how to set an Advanced Adaptive Release rule with multiple requirements for release.
how to set multiple advanced rules to create options for release.
ways to perform some basic troubleshooting to find out why items are not visible.
editing and copying rules.
renaming and deleting rules.
When using Basic Adaptive Release, rules can contain only one instance of each of the four types of criteria.
