EVENT BOOK LISTINGS

The primary purpose of the Event Guide is to provide promotion of MAAC and its mandate, as well as its Associate Clubs and their events to the general public and other member clubs.

Other entities may publish in the guide based on their rights as documented in the MAAC Membership policy.

Submission of a completed and approved Membership Application form along with full payment of the applicable dues is required before publishing shall be considered.

Associate Club events must be of an 'open to the general public' nature to be included (i.e. car shows, show & shines, automotive swap meets, cruises, demonstrations, etc.) with the exception of special ‘closed’ Regional/National club meetings.

The posting club must be actively involved in the event (i.e. posting for a town's event must be because the club will be displaying at the event). Clubs should remember this is a promotional tool for the general public and fellow clubs, and not view the event guide as a 'club newsletter'.

Monthly/quarterly/annual general meeting information is to be included in the club’s directory listing (see the Membership Application form...) and not as reoccurring event listings. This is to ensure public events are highlighted.

* Please note in the listing if there are any restrictions for display vehicles (i.e. 25 years or older, etc.) *

Business entries are limited to 5 lines per event.

Special events not covered by the above are at the discretion of the MAAC Executive (see the 'Special One-Time Non-Commercial Listing' membership type).

Final acceptance of event listings is at
the discretion of the MAAC Executive.
