posted Feb 26, 2011, 5:34 PM by Nishikubo Minoru

We have searched webduino RPM package and posted the webduino mailing list if anyone made it.
It seems that nobody have made the webduino RPM package, and we have decided to create and provide webduino package for linux users. We did not forget about updating the arduino package for openSUSE.

planning updates of arduino packaging

posted Oct 5, 2010, 7:25 PM by Nishikubo Minoru

We will review of the arduino srcipt patch and planning some changes to the package.
The next version of our package will not refer /usr/share/arduino-${version} directly, but make a symbolic link /usr/share/arduino to /usr/share/arudino-${version} and the package refer /usr/share/arduino.
The symbolic link /usr/share/arduino-${version}/lib/ will be removed if ld(1) will resolvable via /etc/ in Fedora and openSUSE.
The symbolic link /usr/share/arduino-${version}/lib/RXTXcomm.jar will be removed in Fedora because RXTXcomm.jar is located on the directory of /usr/share/java, that directory will be automatically searched by OpenJDK in Fedora.
