Purpose of this Site

The information contained here is intended to help LVUSD teachers discover ways in which they can incorporate Google Apps into their practices. This site was designed as a way to allow teachers to share, collaborate, and discuss how Google Apps can be used to enhance teacher productivity and maximize student learning.

Site Organization

This site is divided into sections that address the different Google Apps. Under each section, you will find various sub-tabs with resources for you to explore. You can choose to start with the Basics tab or, if you already have a general understanding of the app, you may begin by looking at the sub-tab containing the topic that interests you most to see how you can implement the app in your classroom. Use the practice activity under each app to review skills and give feedback on your favorite app implementation.

On-site Training

Do you love what you see, but feel that you need more direction or support? Let us come out and train you and your colleagues. We ask for a minimum of three teachers to come out to your school site and build a training around your specific needs. Let us help you be successful with Google Apps! Request training.

Many of the images on this site were taken from a presentation by Becky Evans entitled 40 Ways to Use Google Apps in Education. Her original presentation can be found here.

All videos were gathered from YouTube and viewed to ensure that it meets the needs of teachers.
