Native speakers to complete URB worksheet in class (5-6) and homework pages 201-202.

Monday: Native speakers to 1. Complete ch. 4 review for chapter exam next week: textbook pages 218-219: 1.2 , 3, and 4 and pages 242-243:1.2,3.  If finished, learn new vocabulary chapter 5.1 pages 254-255 and complete URB worksheet.  Non-native to 1. Watch all 3 episodes/Telehistoria 1-3 in ch. 4.2 and complete practice #3 (page 226), practice #9 (231) and practice #15 (page 236); 2. Begin chapter 4.1 review pages   218-219: 1.2 , 3, and 4 (Excercize 1 audio is attached at the x2 server and called 4.1 listen and understand). Complete this for homework if necessary.  (Tomorrow get credit for 7 practice/14 pts).

Tuesday: Review for ch. 4 exam.  Speaking practice with non-native: giving directions, and preterite of "car" "gar" and "zar".  (Grammar on exam is:  irregular preterite, car/gar/zar preterite, imperfect vs preterite, participles as adjectives) Native to complete new vocabulary, and begin homework vocabulary 6.1 A and B. Complete vocabulary worsheet from ch. 5.1(URB pages 2-3 and on textbook pages 254-255) and overview of commands worksheet.  Then review vocabulary worksheet from ch. 5.1 (URB pages 2-3) and teach commands.  HOmework pages 197-199.

On Wednesday, students will share stories and slide shows demonstrating use of preterite and imperfect.

Monday: Speaking quiz Wednesday on preterite/imperfect.  Peer Edit of slide show and Peer Edit of Personal Narrative. Practice imperfect conversation questions for quiz tomorrow.  Make corrections on narratives and slide shows.

Tuesday: Present New vocabulary ch. 4.2 (Around the City).  URB worsheet. Homework to finish worksheet, and make corrections of slide show/essay for tomorrow.

Wednesday: Speaking quiz.400-500 words due today, personal narrative, ready for a Peer edit with checklist. Slide show presentations/story presentations.   Textbook practice with new vocabulary pages 224-225:1-3.  Homework vocabulary A and B (171-172).

Thursday: Ski PE

Friday:Non-native to complete URB worsheet on new vocabulary from textbook pages 222-223.  Then, textbook practice page 224;1-2.  Native speakers to 1. Turn in draft 1 which was printed on Wednesday for Peer Edit, turn in the revision checklist which has been completed 2x (self and peer), and share the updated/edited draft on Friday. Wednesday: For Friday, Speaking Quiz/preterite vs imperfect or written quiz.  Today, begin working on slide shows/narrative essays using preterite and imperfect.  For Friday, slide shows should be organized with 2-3 photos per slide.  Native speakers to complete the first 3 paragraphs of narrative (250-300 words).

Friday: Quizzes, practice imperfect dialogues, check in on narratives, non-native speakers to begin text for slide shows. Credit homework (3 paragraphs or 250 words).  For Monday, finish first draft of personal narrative/finish slide show and be ready to let a peer edit.  Monday peer edits. (See Mi "Vida"  by Sophia)
