A little about me:

I am originally from California and graduated from University of California Santa Cruz with a BA in Biology. Yes I am a proud Banana Slug!

I moved to NJ in 2003 and began to pursue my dream of becoming a science teacher. I received my MA in Education from Seton Hall University and have completed graduate work from Montclair University in Exercise Physiology and Nutrition. I have been at Lenape since 2005 where I have the immense pleasure of teaching Anatomy and Physiology, Honors Biology, Marine Biology and Bioethics. I love teaching and continuing to also learn.

In my spare time I like to hang out with my family, my husband and two wonderful daughters Natalie and Sabrina. Typically we like being outside, running, hiking, surfing, swimming, biking at least when it's warm out! We also have two dogs Darwin and Harley; they like to come on our hikes. In the fall I coach both my daughters soccer teams. I also love to cook, read and keep up with our latest Netflix shows! And when the gyms are open, I teach Spin classes at my local gym.
