I am a graduate of Luxemburg Casco High School, a current resident in the community, and an employee of the school district for 18 years.  Prior to my 18 years of teaching I persued a carreer in professional baseball which lasted 10 years.  I earned my bachelors of science degree from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in 1997 and have beeen a health or Physical Education teacher here at L-C ever since.  Through the past years I coached boys basketball, as an assistant for 4 years, and was the head varsity boys baseball coach for 14 years.

My hobbies include hunting, fishing, golfing, watching the packers, brewers, and badgers, and spending time with my family.  Roxie, my wife, and I are quite busy.  We spend many hours traveling to our kids (Jason, Michael, Brett, Brent, and Jenna) athletic events and extra curricular activities.  It can be quite hectic at times, but very rewarding watching them grow.

My goal as a Physical Education teacher is to teach children the importance of being active.  It's not about becoming a superb athlete, but rather becoming active and maintaing a healthy life style.  It's very challenging in todays changing society to keep kids engaged, but very graitifying when you see former graduates taking good care of themselves.
