The Library Media Centers at T. C. Passios Elementary School and Turkey Hill Middle School contain collections of books and magazines to support student learning and their own personal reading enjoyment.
Both locations have computers with internet access and access to a collection of reference databases provided through membership to the Massachusetts Library System. Students may use the computers with their teacher's permission and are expected to adhere to the district's Acceptable Use Policy.
Students can borrow up to 4 books for a 2 week period. Books can be renewed unless there is a hold on a particular title. Students are responsible for returning materials in good condition in a timely manner. Overdue fines are not charged, but lost or missing books are expected to be replaced.
The Librarian divides her time between the two schools (schedule), but tries to make the libraries' resources available to all students during the school day. The Librarian can always be reached at email@example.com.
The Lunenburg Public Library and T. C. Passios/Turkey Hill Middle School Libraries will be offering students a chance to help choose the 2012 Massachusetts Children's Book Award winner! See below for information, or contact Mrs. Whipple at TCP or THMS, or Mrs. Kemp at the public library.
