PVC Shoe Rack

We needed a couch. We didn't want to spend the money for a couch. I make things. I decided I could make a couch. I decided on using PVC, because it's somewhat sturdy, cheap, widely available, and easy to work with with very few tools and very little space. We found a futon on sale, for $100, with a $100 bill labeled for use exclusively on the couch. I decided I wanted a couch that without doubt would not fall down. We bought the couch. In the interim I played with PVC to get a feel for the medium, and I made this shoe rack, and the skeleton of a storage ottoman that is currently still in progress. Later I will also be trying my hand at a PVC desk.
