TAP Proposal Review: The members of the LSSU Shared Governance Assessment Committee (AC) will review the TAP mini-grant applications using the criteria below. The AC will recommend projects for funding to the Provost who will make the final awards. Members of the AC applying for funding will be excluded from the review process.
Criteria on which applications will be judged include:
•Relationship of project to specific school/college assessment plans/needs
•Potential to support development with respect to student learning, program quality, and/or school/college/program assessment planning
•Clarity of purpose and intended outcomes
•Feasibility and specificity of the plan of action and related timelines
•Adequacy and defensibility of the budget related to project goals
•Articulation of a clearly defined strategy for disseminating and using project outcomes
•Sustainability, Transferability or scalability of project to other schools/colleges/programs
In addition to the criteria listed above, decisions about funding awards will also include the goal of sharing available grant funding with the broadest representation of schools and colleges. Thus, multiple awards to a single school or college may not be awarded, depending upon the number and quality of applications received.
