School Counseling Mission Statement
LSR-7 School Counselors serve students' social-emotional, academic, and career needs while advocating for opportunities, access, and equity for all. We partner with stakeholders to enable all students to become successful, productive citizens and lifelong learners in a diverse and changing world.
As your school counselor, it's my privilege to partner with parents and teachers to help boys & girls learn and grow at Trailridge. The knowledge, attitudes and skills students acquire during the elementary years in the areas of academic, career and personal/social development serve as the foundation for future success. Through monthly classroom lessons, small groups and individual counseling we will emphasize communication, decision-making, interpersonal and career awareness skills. It is always my goal is to reduce barriers to a successful school experience so students can learn skills and attitudes necessary to be life-long learners and productive citizens.
