In a school resource officer program, the members of the school community partner with the local police department to have a uniformed law enforcement officer (SRO) assigned to their school in order to create a setting that is safe and secure, with a focus on prevention and early intervention.

I like being very involved with my school, and take pride in becoming part of my school community. You’ll see me at all the home games, school dances and most school events.  I look forward to meeting with all students and their families! The SRO has a diverse range of duties. Personally, my job entails law enforcement, public safety specialist, community liaison, problem solver, counselor, law related educator and positive role model.
