Tracy Baker

Tracy started in the Lee’s Summit R-7 School District twenty years ago as an 8th grade language arts teacher. She currently works as the library media specialist at Pleasant Lea Middle School. Tracy has served on numerous committees and teams focused on building and district goals, as well as literacy support. She spent several years as a Midwest Center for Holocaust Education Cadre member and has also attended the Alfred Lerner Fellowship program offered at Columbia University in New York.

In her free time, Tracy enjoys reading (no surprise) and spending time with her family. In the future, she looks forward to watching her two children grow and develop their own interests. She hopes to continue sharing her love of literacy with others and travel numerous places.
