If you have questions about research, citing, or technology, please reach out to Ms. Fauver (jfauver@lrhsd.org) or Mr. Miller (shanemiller@lrhsd.org) from the media center
Step 1: Research your assigned STI
Video tutorial (for review): Media Center instruction on finding two credible sources and completing the research notes
Check out the REQUIREMENTS for this project.
Use at least 2 sources - select from the eBooks, Health Reference Center, and the listed credible websites
Complete the RESEARCH NOTES document (in your Classroom Assignment)
Cite your sources in Noodletools (video tutorial on creating citations in Noodletools)
SUBMIT in Google Classroom: Research Notes
Step 2: See your options and pick a path!
Check out the VIDEO/PRESENTATION OPTIONS page to make your selection
Use your research notes to make a video or presentation to inform teens about your STI
You need to select your own path - how would you like to present the information about your STI to other teens
Some examples may include an original song, changing lyrics to an existing song, acting out a commercial about your STI, recording a "phone call" between a doctor and patient (perhaps using zoom or meets to record a telemedicine appointment), using animation and animated characters to tell us about the STI, etc.
Possibilities are endless -- be as creative as you can, using any technology/software you are comfortable with, just be sure to include all the researched information (causes, symptoms, treatment, prevention and statistics)
Remember to check the REQUIREMENTS page to ensure your presentation/video meets the guidelines
Cite any pictures or videos you use in your project in Noodletools
SUBMIT in Google Classroom: Works Cited with information sources and any pictures or other multimedia you used in your presentation/video
Step 3: Finish your STI Adventure and submit your production
Check the REQUIREMENTS for this project and ensure you have all required elements
SUBMIT in Google Classroom: your Video/Presentation
