Citations, Notecards & the Outline
Noodletools - to create your list of CITATIONS
Sign in with your user ID and password
if you are asked to revalidate, enter: noodletools1
if setting up a new account, enter the school username (lenapemediacenter) and password (noodletools1)
Create +New Project
Click on the SOURCES tab to build your list of citations
Be sure to cite the novel as well as all research articles

Noodletools - to create NOTECARDS
Tips on creating/organizing notecards in noodletools - https://www.noodletools.com/overview/notes/
To create your notecards, either select the tab for NOTECARDS or from your SOURCE list in noodletools, click on "new" in the notecard column for each source
Enter a direct quote, paraphrased information, and/or your own ideas in the notecard
Title the notecard
Include the source and any page numbers
ORGANIZE NOTECARDS
create tags (by color or "manage tags" and create your topics)
can create "piles" of notecards
move around the notecards to help visually organize your content
Click on "PRINT" to export your notecards to Google docs to submit
Noodletools - to create the OUTLINE
To create an outline in noodletools, click on the NOTECARDS tab
Enter the topics and subtopics for your outline
You can drag notecards to each item on your outline to help with organization
Click on "PRINT" and select OUTLINE to export your outline to Google docs to submit

Find a general analysis article from NOVELS FOR STUDENTS

Click on LITERARY THEMES to find articles analyzing certain themes
Search for the novel and click on the REFERENCE tab for the "How to Write About...." article to get started
Click on the CRITICISM tab to get literary analysis articles
Export your citation to your Noodletools source list

To access, enter username: lenapehs1 and password: lhs2021!
Search for The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn
In search results, you can use limiters to narrow your search result
Click on LITERARY CRITICISM under Source Type on the left
You can also click on ADVANCED SEARCH under the top search bar to include more keywords in your search
You will need to copy and paste the citation into your Noodletools source list
EBSCO - Complete Database Search
To access, enter username: lenapehs1 and password: lhs2021!
Select "Complete DB List"
Click to "select all" and "continue"
Search for keywords related to your topic and Adventures of Huckleberry Finn
Find articles from academic journals, books and other types of periodicals
Export the citation to your Noodletools source list
