The Online GED program is designed to prepare busy students for the new GED Test. The 2014 test has four subject areas: Math, Science, Social Studies, and Reasoning through Language Arts. Students can work through each subject at their own pace, from the comfort of their home. Instructors are readily available (in person and online) to answer questions, review lessons, and offer support. This program provides all these benefits at a low cost. (see Registration Fee)

Online GED Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is the Online GED Program?

The online program is simply that; an online program designed to help you achieve your GED at the comfort of your own computer. As stated in the Objective above, this program will prepare you for all four sections of the GED.

Q: How do I enroll?

To enroll, there are a couple steps we need to cover:

  •    A student will need to cover the fee explained below.
  •    You will need to fill out the registration form (which includes the payment) available at the bottom of the page.
  • Finally, you will need to attend the orientation assigned to you.

Q: What does it cost?

The online program has an orientation fee that costs $100. This fee is a one-time fee that reserves your spot in the class and can be refunded if a student completes the program or exits properly; see the Registration Fee section below for more details.

Q: How long is the program?

The program maxes out at 8 months, at 2 months per subject. Highly motivated students can complete the material in less time.

Q: What time(s) are classes and how does it affect my schedule?

The good news is, students can set their own hours! Whatever your schedule look like, you can build your class time around it. Class and module expectations will all be discussed at orientation.

Q: When is orientation?

Orientations are held weekly. Due to limited space, orientation seats are filled on a first come, first served basis. Students are placed in the next available orientation (you will be notified of the date via e-Mail). There, students will be tested on Reading and Math for placement. You will also be asked to fill out a short intake form for the program.

Q: What should I bring with me to orientation?

We ask that all potential students please bring a #2 pencil(s) and eraser. Scratch paper will be provided.
