Looking for a fun family activity? Looking to get a little pre-Christmas shopping exercise? Put on your running shoes and grab your wallet. The Carencro High School's Academy of Information Technology is conducting a fundraiser 5K. Run with us in the morning and shop for Christmas gifts at the finish line! Carencro's Annual Carencro Country Christmas will be held at the Carencro Community Center. The race starts at 8:00 a.m. and the community center opens at 9:00 a.m. Run and Shop! Get the best deals before they are gone!

Race Date & Time: Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 8:00 a.m.

Costumes are welcome and encouraged but not required.

The race will start at the Carencro Library (North Regional Lafayette Public Library) and end at the Carencro Community Center, 5115 N. University, Carencro, LA.


Registration Entry Fees: $25 Each registrant receives a t-shirt!    
Late Registration: $30 (After November 16, 2018, and on-site) Late registrants are not guaranteed a t-shirt.
Students may register for $10 and late register for $15. However, students must use the mail-in method of registering. Follow the registration process instructions below. Carencro High students can see Mrs. Trouard in room 2114. 

Registration Categories: Youth up to age 19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
Winners: Overall Male and Female, 1st and 2nd place in each category. 

Check-in Times:

7:00 a.m. Check-in and receive t-shirt. Parking available at the Carencro Community Center.

7:00 a.m. On-site Registration $30 (adults) $15 (students)

8:00 a.m. Race begins.


Route: The race will start at the North Regional Lafayette Public Library. Runners will go South on University, East on E.St. Peter, North on N. Church St., East on E. Armand St., North on S. Michaud St., West on Debutante, and South on University concluding the race at the Carencro Community Center.
