Welcome to Carencro High School's Academy of Information Technology. AOIT prides itself on 13 years of excellence and proving to live out the mission statement of "preparing students for life." The Academy of Information Technology is affiliated with the National Academy Foundation. We are one of many themed academies across Lafayette Parish but the only NAF Information Technology Academy in the state of Louisiana.

  • CHS Bears 5K; AOIT host 5K run! AOIT annual fundraising 5K will be held on Saturday, Dec. 2nd. Registration can be done through www.chsbears5k.com. This event is held in conjunction with the City of Carencro's Country Christmas. The race begins at 8 and when runners are finished, they are invited to do some Christmas shopping with local vendors.

  • Thank you Internship Providers! This year's AOIT senior class started their internships on May 30th. This opportunity was made possible by a group of dedicated businesses and sponsors. Each student will have a unique experience. This experience is based on workforce readiness and soft-skill development. Upon the completion of the 180-hour experience, these seniors will have gained a real-world experience thus, making a connection between the classroom and the workforce.
