What is NAEYC Accreditation?

NAEYC accrediated schools must go through a formal inspection process and meet these certification standards:

  • Provide a safe and healthy environment for children
  • Have teachers who are well-trained and take part in professional development
  • Have access to excellent teaching materials
  • Work with a curriculum that is appropriately challenging and developmentally sound
