The Before & After Program is open Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. - 8:50 a.m., with a supervised recess before the start of school, and again from 3:43 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
On scheduled Early Dismissal afternoons, we are open from the release of school until 6:00 p.m.
In-Service day hours are 6:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Our Summer Program operates Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Summer closures are listed in summer paperwork and change each year based on calendar.
In the event that school closes mid-day due to inclement weather or an emergency, Hotshots will also close at release time. Children not picked up will be asked to wait for parents in the main office. Please talk with your child and have a plan in place in the event of an emergency or weather related closure, children will not be signed into Hotshots.
The Hotshots Program follows the district calendar for all furlough and holiday closures; childcare is not available on these days.
Effective summer 2012, there will be an annual $25.00 registration fee per family for the summer program and the before & after program.

Highland Hotshots is open to school age children beginning in kindergarten and continuing through the summer of the fifth grade year.
To register your child or children into the program, please contact manager for information and availability. There is an annual, non-refundable, $25.00 registration fee per family for enrollment into the before & after program and the summer program.
HIGHLAND HOTSHOTS is the Before and After School Program at Highland Elementary School.
The Program is licensed with the State of Colorado Department of Human Services.
Activities include Recreational Games, Team Sports, Arts & Crafts, Homework Assistance, Table games, Computers, Group Activities, Guest Speakers, Field Trips and much more!
Staff to Student ratio is 1:15 or better.
