UPDATED April 28, 2023
The May skills assessments for freshman math and science honors courses for the 2023-2024 school year at Arapahoe will take place on Wednesday, May 17th at 4:30PM.
Students, Please enter AHS through the North Forum Entrance on the north side of the building, across from the baseball field (enter the parking lot off of Franklin Street). The testing sessions will take place in classroom W1528.
Non-graphing calculators are permitted, but not provided. No cell phones are allowed. You will need to bring your own pencil.
*Students need to write down their current 8th grade math course (Algebra I, Geometry, etc.) when they come to the assessment. This will insure they take the appropriate assessment.
Students not wishing to be placed in an Honors math course do not need to take an assessment and will be promoted to the next regular level math course.
These assessments are not placement exams. We are not allowed to "skip" or "test out" of courses that are prerequisites. These assessments are only to determine regular vs. honors placement in courses.
