Welcome

Hi there - I am Mrs. Mena and am grateful to be teaching at Goddard Middle School.  This is my 19th year and I love every day!  I am passionate about students learning math and love to create engaging lessons, hands-on activities, and expect the students to be able to work independently as well as collaboratively.  I believe that students will achieve more if they have a positive relationship with their teacher and put in effort.  I strive to be flexible, hold high expectations for students' work ethic and student accountability, while maintaining my sanity (mainly through humor and deep breaths!).
