Welcome!
Use our online booking system to schedule your appointment with Professor Rosenberg. Appointments are thirty minutes long. It's important that you review the policies and procedures set forth below so that everyone who wants to meet with the professor has the opportunity.
Professor Rosenberg conducts meetings over the Zoom meeting application, so be sure that you have it installed on your computer and that it's in working order (mic, webcam, speakers, etc.) well before your meeting.
You will receive the Zoom meeting link in your confirmation email.
Appointment Policies & Procedures
Please read the following information carefully to ensure that your appointment goes smoothly and so that everyone who wishes to meet with the professor has the opportunity. To that end, any violations of these Policies & Procedures will result in the loss of appointment privileges for the remainder of the semester*. And we're very strict about this because not only is the professor's time valuable but we cannot allow students who miss appointments to interfere with the progress of others.
Policies
Missing an appointment, arriving late, and/or unprepared is prohibited. You must arrive prepared and on-time.
All appointment cancellations or modifications must be made via this system - see the information in the confirmation emails. Such requests will not be honored by contacting Professor Rosenberg.
Cancellations and reschedulings are permitted up until twenty-four hours before the appointment, after which you are obligated.
Only currently enrolled students may use this online booking system. All others must contact the professor.
You are required to use a webcam and mic for the duration of your meeting.
Please understand that we cannot afford you extra time because of faulty equipment. Therefore, run a test meeting well beforehand.
You may have only one open appointment at a time. Double bookings are not permitted.
Technical issues of any kind, even if they are not your fault, are not valid excuses for violations of this policy.
Procedures
You will receive email communications about your appointment from no-reply@lourosenbergonline.onmicrosoft.com. If they're not showing up in your inbox, check your spam folder.
All appointments meet via Zoom.
Using a smartphone or a tablet to attend your meeting is not recommended because we may use the advanced capabilities of the Zoom desktop software. That said, no technology is expressly prohibited.
If you intend to review an essay, be sure to upload it before your appointment.
Essays are in the document file format (.doc, .docx, Google Docs, etc.).
All other assignments are in the PDF file format. If you're reviewing hardcopy, scan it as a .pdf document and upload it.
When you first "arrive," you are either placed in the Waiting Room or instructed to wait until the meeting is started by the host. In both cases, "waiting" does not qualify as attending the meeting, and if you leave before you are admitted, even if the professor is late, you will be considered a no-show.
We strongly recommend that you do not use your university email address.
