About Me:

This is my 27th year to teach.  My bachelor’s degree is from Texas A & M and my Master’s degree is from West Texas A & M.  As a lifelong learner, I am continually trying to keep my teaching skills current and relevant.  I have taught 2nd, 4th, and 5th grade self-contained classes as well as Kindergarten through sixth grade gifted and talented classes.  Before coming to Lorena, I taught in Hereford, Frisco, and Princeton, Texas.  Even though I live in Temple, I definitely think Lorena is the greatest place to teach and this is my 15th year to teach for Lorena ISD.  I am delighted to be a 5th grade science teacher and I am looking forward to teaching your child.  It is inspiring to watch Lorena students make the connections of the information they are learning and use it in real life.
